Scope
This document specifies the classification, requirements, testing, inspection rules, marking, user's manual, packaging, transportation, and storage of bathroom electric heaters.
This document applies to non-heat storage indoor heaters fixedly installed in bathrooms. The rated voltage of single-phase appliances shall not exceed 250 V; the rated voltage of other appliances shall not exceed 480 V.
Note: Examples of appliances within the scope of this document include:
——Ceiling-mounted radiant bathroom electric heaters;
——Ceiling-mounted fan-type bathroom electric heaters;
——Ceiling-mounted radiant and fan-type combined bathroom electric heaters;
——Wall-mounted radiant bathroom electric heaters;
——Wall-mounted fan-type bathroom electric heaters;
——Wall-mounted radiant and fan-type combined bathroom electric heaters.
This document does not apply to portable indoor heaters that can be used both in rooms and in bathrooms, such as electric oil heaters.
