Scope

This part of GB/T 39560 describes the standard technical method for determining polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), and four phthalates (diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)) in polymers of electronic and electrical products using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
This document adopts an ultrasonic-assisted extraction method to simultaneously extract PBBs, PBDEs, DIBP, DBP, BBP, and DEHP from samples.
GC-MS is the standard method for simultaneously quantifying PBBs, PBDEs, DIBP, DBP, BBP, and DEHP, with a measurement range of 25 mg/kg to 2000 mg/kg.
This testing method has been evaluated on materials such as polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), acrylic rubber (ACM), polystyrene (PS), polyurethane (PU), and polyethylene (PE).
