Scope

This document specifies the product structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, as well as the transportation and storage of prefabricated directly buried insulated pipes (hereinafter referred to as insulated pipes) composed of high-density polyethylene outer protection pipes (hereinafter referred to as outer protection pipes), rigid polyurethane foam insulation layers (hereinafter referred to as insulation layers), and working steel pipes or steel pipe fittings.
This document is applicable to prefabricated directly buried insulated pipes and their pipe fittings, where the temperature of the transported medium (long-term operating temperature) is not more than 120 °C, and the accidental peak temperature is not more than 130 °C.
