Scope
This document describes the experimental method for simulating the space radiation effects on non-metallic materials on the ground, including the characteristics of the space radiation environment during the simulation experiment, the performance of aerospace materials, the requirements for space radiation simulation, the simulation radiation sources, and optional simulation methods. This document is applicable to ground simulation experiments of the space radiation effects on non-metallic materials. Non-metallic materials include paints, glass, ceramics, polymers, and polymer-metal composites such as metal-based composites and laminates.
