GB/T 15651.13-2026 Semiconductor devices—Part 5-13:Optoelectronic devices—Hydrogen sulphide corrosion test for LED packages
Basic Information
Scope
This document provides an accelerated test method for evaluating the discoloration of silver and silver alloys in LED packages caused by hydrogen sulfide, with the aim of providing information on the impact of silver and silver alloy discoloration on the luminous flux and radiation flux maintenance rate of LED packages. Additionally, this test method can provide information on the electrical performance of LED packages affected by the corrosion of silver and silver alloys. The purpose of the test is to determine the impact of hydrogen sulfide gas on LED package materials: - Silver or silver alloys; - Silver or silver alloys with other protective layers; - Metals coated with silver or silver alloys. This document does not include changes in luminous flux maintenance rate, radiation flux maintenance rate, and electrical performance caused by degradation from other factors (e.g., degradation of copper or silicone components). This document is only applicable to LED packages used in lighting applications.
