GB/T 44556-2024 Refrigerating systems and heat pumps—Qualification of tightness of components and joints

Scope

This document provides the type-approval assessment procedures for the sealing of closed and sealed components, joints, and parts used in refrigeration systems and heat pumps, as described in the relevant sections of GB/T 9237. The relevant closed and sealed components, joints, and parts mainly refer to accessories, explosion-proof devices, and flange-type or assembled components. The sealing of flexible pipes made of non-metallic materials is subject to GB/T 44557. This document covers metal flexible pipes.
The requirements contained in this document apply to joints with a nominal size not exceeding DN50 and components with an internal volume not exceeding 5 L and a weight not exceeding 50 kg.
This document aims to describe the sealing stress encountered during the operation of components after they are assembled according to the manufacturer's specified procedures, and provides a list of the minimum necessary information that component suppliers should provide to the personnel responsible for executing this procedure.
This document specifies the overall sealing grade of components after they are assembled according to the manufacturer's requirements.
This document applies to closed and sealed components, joints, and parts used in refrigeration systems, including all components with sealing devices, regardless of their materials and designs.
This document stipulates additional requirements for mechanical joints that can be considered as closed joints.
