Scope

This standard specifies the classification and grouping, structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, installation and operation instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage of pressure regulating devices for burners and combustion appliances used with town gas as specified in GB/T 13611.
This standard applies to the following pressure regulating devices for gas combustion appliances or combustion equipment, such as gas water heaters, gas heating boilers, gas stoves, gas burners/engines, gas heaters, gas steamers, and gas boilers, with a nominal size not exceeding DN 250 and a maximum inlet pressure not exceeding 500 kPa:
——Self-acting pressure regulating devices;
——Pressure regulating devices for positive, zero, and negative pressures that can use auxiliary energy and are used only to change the outlet pressure setting rather than the control mode.
This standard does not apply to:
——Pressure regulating devices installed outdoors and exposed to the environment;
——Gas/air ratio regulating devices/systems.
