YY/T 0750-2026 Ultrasonics—Physiotherapy systems—Field specifications and methods of measurement in the frequency range 0.5 MHz to 5 MHz
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies:
—— Measurement and characterization methods for the output of ultrasound therapy equipment based on reference test methods;
—— Characteristics specified by ultrasound therapy equipment manufacturers based on reference test methods;
—— Safety guidelines for the ultrasonic sound field generated by ultrasound therapy equipment;
—— Measurement and characterization methods for the output of ultrasound therapy equipment based on conventional test methods;
—— Acceptance criteria for the output of ultrasound therapy equipment based on conventional test methods.
This document applies to ultrasound equipment designed for therapeutic purposes, which generates continuous or quasi-continuous waves (such as burst sound) from ultrasonic transducers in the frequency range of 0.5 MHz to 5 MHz. The ultrasound therapy equipment uses a single plane non-focused circular transducer as the treatment head, and the generated static sound beam is perpendicular to the end face of the treatment head.
Note 1: This document does not include the therapeutic parameters and usage methods of ultrasound therapy equipment.
Note 2: Ultrasound therapy equipment with a frequency range of 20 kHz to 500 kHz is specified by IEC 63009.
