This standard specifies the procedures, methods, and technical requirements for establishing water quality benchmarks for freshwater aquatic organisms. This standard applies to the establishment of water quality benchmarks for freshwater aquatic organisms in China. This standard does not apply to the establishment of water quality benchmarks for substances such as endocrine disruptors and highly bioaccumulative organic compounds in freshwater aquatic organisms.
