This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for clean high-brightness viscose staple fibers used in nonwoven medical and hygiene materials and other applications.
This standard applies to the identification and acceptance of the quality of clean high-brightness viscose staple fibers used in nonwoven medical and hygiene materials and other applications, which are produced from cotton pulp and wood pulp and have a linear density of 1.10 dtex to 6.70 dtex, and are available in glossy, semi-matt, and fully matt finishes.
