Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural forms and structural lengths, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, protection, packaging, transportation, and storage of spring-loaded direct-loading safety valves (hereinafter referred to as "safety valves") for low-temperature media.
This standard applies to safety valves for low-temperature gas media with a nominal pressure of PN16 to PN100, a nominal size of DN15 to DN200, a temperature not lower than -196 °C, and a minimum set pressure of 0.1 MPa.
