This document specifies the rated values, usage conditions, technical requirements, test item requirements, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of general-purpose variable-frequency speed control equipment (hereinafter referred to as "speed control equipment") with a voltage of more than 1 kV but not exceeding 35 kV.
This document applies to the design, production, and installation of speed control equipment with a rated input voltage between 1 kV and 35 kV AC, a rated input frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, an output voltage not exceeding 35 kV, and an output frequency not exceeding 120 Hz.
