Scope
This document describes the test methods for general-purpose variable-frequency speed-control equipment (hereinafter referred to as "speed-control equipment") with a rated input voltage of 1 kV or less.
This document is applicable to the inspection and acceptance of speed-control equipment with a rated input voltage of AC 1 kV or DC 1.5 kV and below, a rated input frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, an output voltage not exceeding 1 kV, and an output frequency less than 600 Hz.
Note: Speed-control equipment with an AC rated input voltage of 1 140 V or an output frequency greater than 600 Hz is also typically tested according to this document. The relevant performance and other requirements are determined through consultation between the manufacturer and the user.
