Scope
This standard specifies the product classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for nylon 6 elastic filament.
This standard applies to elastic filament processed from polyamide as raw material, with a linear density range of 7 dtex to 390 dtex (for twisted filament, the nominal linear density before twisting), a single filament linear density of 1.1 dtex to 5.0 dtex, and a circular cross-sectional shape. It is used for quality appraisal, acceptance, and arbitration of glossy, semi-matte, and fully matte elastic filament made from polyamide.
