Scope

This document specifies the principles, test environment, materials and equipment, samples, operating procedures, result calculation, and test reports for determining the strength of reinforcing yarns in cement.
This document is applicable to the evaluation of the alkali resistance of reinforcing yarns such as alkali-resistant glass fiber yarns, basalt fiber yarns, and carbon fiber yarns, as well as the evaluation of the alkali erosion resistance of new reinforcing yarn systems and the alkaline erosion of new cement systems. Other reinforcing yarns can be used for reference.
