GB/T 10395.21-2021 Agricultural and forestry machinery—Safety—Part 21:Rotary tedders and rakes

Scope

This document, together with GB 10395.1, specifies the safety requirements and verification rules for the design and manufacture of single-rotor or multi-rotor rotary spreading machines, rotary hay raking machines, and rotary spreading and hay raking machines, including single-person operated rotary drum hay raking machines. This document specifies the types of safety operation information that manufacturers should provide, including residual risks.
This document does not apply to the following machines:
——Wheeled hay raking machines;
——Parallel tine hay raking machines;
——Chain or belt hay raking machines;
——Manual spreading machines and manual hay raking machines;
——Hay raking machines with picking devices.
For machines designed and manufactured in accordance with this document, when the provisions of this document differ from those of GB 10395.1, the provisions of this document shall take precedence over those of GB 10395.1.
This document covers all major hazards, dangerous conditions, and dangerous events related to the use of rotary spreading machines, rotary hay raking machines, and rotary spreading and hay raking machines under the conditions intended and foreseen by the manufacturer (see Chapter 4), except for the following cases:
——Environment, noise;
——Electromagnetic compatibility;
——Vibration;
——Overturning of the protective devices in the cab of self-propelled machinery operators;
——Danger caused by insufficient strength of the protective devices of power transmission moving parts;
——Safety and reliability of the control system.
