Scope

This document specifies the test apparatus, specimens, test procedures, test results, and test reports for multi-axial thermomechanical fatigue tests of metal materials under axial torsional strain control. This document is applicable to metal thin-walled tube specimens under constant axial mechanical strain cycling, constant shear strain cycling, and constant temperature cycling conditions, corresponding to any constant cyclic strain ratio, constant phase difference between axial mechanical strain and shear strain, and constant phase difference between axial mechanical strain and temperature.
