Scope
This standard specifies the reference model, general requirements, coexistence requirements with 1G-EPON, service carrying capacity and device types, network-side interfaces and user-side interfaces, functional requirements, service carrying performance index requirements, TDM dedicated line service timing synchronization requirements, operation, management, and maintenance requirements, and other requirements for 10G-EPON systems.
This standard is applicable to 10G-EPON systems.
