Scope

This standard specifies the safety technical requirements, test methods, marking, and usage instructions for baby cradles.
This standard applies to baby cradles intended for use by infants under 5 months or infants who are unable to sit up, kneel, or crawl, with an internal length not exceeding 900 mm.
This standard does not apply to baby rocking chairs, carry cots, or swings.
Note: The safety requirements for hanging toys, fitness toys, and similar toys attached to baby cradles must meet the relevant requirements of GB 6675. If additional accessories are added to the baby cradle, the safety requirements for these accessories must meet the requirements of the relevant standards.
