Scope
This document specifies the classification and marking of composite material towers for distribution networks, their raw materials and structures, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, storage, transportation, and product certificates. This document applies to composite material towers (hereinafter referred to as towers) used in overhead power lines with a nominal voltage of 35 kV or less. Composite material towers in communication and contact network overhead lines, as well as poles (for lighting, signaling, multi-functional poles, etc.), can refer to this document for guidance.
