Scope
This part of GB/T 25444 (hereinafter referred to as this part) specifies the system design requirements for electrical installations of mobile and fixed offshore facilities, applicable to drilling, production, processing, and storage in the offshore oil industry, including pipelines, pump stations or in-pipe cleaning stations, air compressor stations, and exposed single buoy mooring facilities.
This part applies to all electrical installations (AC and DC voltages are nominal voltages) with an AC voltage not exceeding 35,000 V and a DC voltage not exceeding 750 V, whether permanent, temporary, mobile, or handheld.
This part does not apply to fixed medical equipment or electrical installations on liquid cargo ships.
