本文件适用于单个光伏电池、由多个电池组成的子串或完整光伏组件。本文件主要适用于非聚光光伏器件，但部分内容可能也适用于聚光光伏器件。对于设计用于聚光条件下的光伏器件，若是在没有聚光光学元器件的情况下使用直射光源测量，并根据标准直射辐照度分布进行光谱失配修正，则本文件可能仍适用。
