Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, quality evaluation procedures, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of hand-drawn painting devices (hereinafter referred to as "products").
This standard applies to computer peripherals that are connected to a computer to collect handwriting information, which can be used for handwriting recognition, computer drawing, painting, or other online handwriting information collection.
This standard does not apply to devices that implement handwriting and drawing functions through touch screens.
