Scope

This document specifies the general design requirements for all-vanadium flow batteries, as well as the design requirements for battery modules, battery units, electrical systems, battery system layouts, and ventilation and air conditioning. It does not include the design of planning, civil engineering, architecture, converters, and other electrochemical energy storage power station-level designs. This document is applicable to indoor or outdoor all-vanadium flow battery systems. It is applicable to all types of fixed all-vanadium flow batteries (including box-type or non-box-type).
