Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations of cold-bent rectangular tubes for tower crane structures, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to rectangular tubes (hereinafter referred to as tower crane tubes) used in tower crane structures, which are manufactured from cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel plates and steel strips that can be cold-processed and deformed on continuous roll cold bending machines.
