Scope
This document specifies the classification and designations of cold-bent rectangular tubes for tower cranes, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This document applies to cold-bent hollow rectangular tubes (hereinafter referred to as "steel tubes") used in tower crane components, which are manufactured by continuous roll cold-bending and high-frequency welding processes from hot-rolled steel strips or steel plates that can be cold-processed and deformed.
