GB/T 5169.9-2013 Fire hazard testing for electric and electronic products—Part 9:Guidance for assessing the fire hazard—Preselection testing procedures—General guidelines
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 5169 provides guidelines for evaluating and selecting alternative materials, components, or assemblies for manufactured products based on pre-selection tests.
This part describes the comparative fire hazard test methods for evaluating the performance of pre-selected test samples at the design stage of finished products, as well as the selection methods for materials, parts, components, and assemblies. At the same time, this part further describes how standardized test methods are used to determine the fire hazard of electrical and electronic equipment and states that the expected fire response performance of finished products should be considered, as well as the possible impact of environmental conditions related to the performance of finished products.
