Scope
This standard specifies the spectrophotometry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry, and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry methods for determining the aluminum content in food.
The first method of this standard is suitable for detecting aluminum in foods that use aluminum-containing food additives, and the second, third, and fourth methods are suitable for detecting aluminum in foods.
