GB/T 23257-2017 Polyethylene coating for buried steel pipeline
GB/T 23257-2017 Polyethylene coating for buried steel pipeline
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the minimum technical requirements for the extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion coating and radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat-shrinkable tapes (sleeves) used to repair joints in steel pipelines. This standard applies to the design, production, and inspection of extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion coatings for buried steel pipelines, as well as the design, construction, and inspection of on-site joint repairs. Other forms of pipelines with extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion coatings may be implemented as a reference. Extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion coatings can be divided into two types: a normal-temperature type (N) with a maximum design temperature of no more than 60°C, and a high-temperature type (H) with a maximum design temperature of no more than 80°C.
