Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for polyethylene terephthalate-1,3-propanediol ester (PTT) short fibers (hereinafter referred to as PTT short fibers).
This standard applies to semi-matt, natural-colored, round-section PTT short fibers with a linear density of 1.2 dtex to 2.5 dtex. Other types of PTT short fibers can be used for reference.
