Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for polyethylene/polyethylene terephthalate (PE/PET) composite short fibers.
This standard applies to polyethylene/polyethylene terephthalate (PE/PET) core-sheath composite short fibers with a linear density of 1.33 dtex to 8.89 dtex and a circular cross-section. Other types of polyethylene/polyethylene terephthalate composite short fibers can be used as reference for application.
