本标准规定了标准轨距机车车辆在线路上进行动力学性能试验鉴定的方法和评定指标。
本标准适用于标准轨距机车车辆的线路运行动力学性能评定和试验鉴定。城市轨道车辆及工矿用电力、内燃机车的动力学性能试验鉴定可参照使用。
本标准不适用于标准轨距铁路特种车辆（长大货物车和有、无动力的轨行车辆)以及工程机械（架桥机、铺轨机、轨道起重机等)、工务养路机械（清筛机、捣固机等)等轨行机械的动力学性能试验鉴定。
