Scope

This standard specifies the basic components of the safety monitoring system for the operation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in elevators, escalators, and automatic walkways, the public output interfaces and protocols of monitoring terminals and enterprise application platforms, and the code, format, and output requirements of device data.
This standard applies to the new construction, renovation, and expansion of safety monitoring systems for the operation of IoT devices in elevators, escalators, and automatic walkways. This standard does not apply to the collection and transmission of signals such as audio, video, and images.
