Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic elastomers.
This standard applies to low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant materials (hereinafter referred to as materials) made from halogen-free styrene-based and polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomers as the main raw materials, with the addition of halogen-free flame retardants and other modifying additives, and manufactured through melt blending and granulation.
