Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classification and models, materials and structures, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, warnings, and instructions, as well as packaging, transportation, and storage for residential gas heating water heaters with auxiliary energy sources. This standard applies to residential heating water heaters in homes and similar places, which mainly use gas heating boilers with a single rated heat output of no more than 100 kW as the main heat source, and electric motor-driven air source heat pump water heating devices and/or solar water heating devices with a nominal heating capacity of no more than 50 kW as auxiliary heat sources. These devices must have the function of heating domestic water, with a storage volume of no more than 500 L in the hot water tank, a heating system pressure of no more than 0.3 MPa, a domestic water inlet pressure of no more than 1.0 MPa, a domestic water outlet temperature of no more than 65 °C, and a heating water outlet temperature of no more than 95 °C.
