Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for chitosan short fibers.
This document is applicable to the identification and acceptance of the quality of chitosan short fibers produced from chitosan as raw material with a linear density range of 1.20 dtex to 6.00 dtex for plain-colored conventional textile use. Chitosan short fibers for other purposes can be used as a reference.
