Scope

This part of GB/T 34560 specifies the terms and definitions, grade designation methods, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for quenched and tempered high yield strength structural steel plates. This part is applicable to steel plates with a nominal thickness of 3 mm to 150 mm and an upper yield strength of 460 MPa to 1,300 MPa, which are delivered in a quenched and tempered condition for welding or bolting structures.
