Scope

This part of GB/T 34560 specifies the terms and definitions, classification, and grade designation methods for earthquake-resistant building structural steel, as well as the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This part applies to steel plates with a thickness of 6 mm to 150 mm, wide flat steel, and hot-rolled steel with a flange thickness of no more than 140 mm (hereinafter referred to as "steel").
