Scope

This part of GB/T 34560 specifies the terms and definitions, classification and grade designation methods, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of atmospheric corrosion-resistant structural steel. It also stipulates technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This part is applicable to steel plates and steel strips, wide flat steels, section steels, and bars (hereinafter referred to as "steel materials") with a nominal thickness or diameter not exceeding 200 mm, which are used for welding or bolting.
