Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for para-aramid filament yarn, describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates the inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and other aspects. This document is applicable to para-aramid filament yarn with a nominal linear density of 55 dtex to 9,990 dtex, a single filament linear density of 0.55 dtex to 3.33 dtex, and a circular cross-section.
