Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for colored polyimide short fibers. This standard applies to polyimide short fibers with a nominal linear density of 0.70 dtex to 7.00 dtex, produced using the dyeing process in the original solution. Colored polyimide short fibers of other specifications can be used as a reference for application.
