Scope
This standard specifies the safety and hygiene requirements for food choppers and mixers.
This standard applies to food choppers and mixers with fixed material buckets used in food processing, where the capacity of the buckets is ≤ 150L.
The machines covered by this standard should be able to perform various types of operations such as chopping, stirring, mixing, and beating on a large scale of finished products and raw materials, and are mainly used in the food and catering industries, such as restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, and pubs.
