Scope

This part of GB/T 19518 provides guidelines for the application of resistive heat tracing systems in potentially explosive gas environments, except for Zone 0 hazardous areas. It offers recommendations for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of resistive heat tracers and associated monitoring devices. It does not include devices that rely on induction heating, skin effect, or direct line heating, nor those intended for stress relief. The requirements of this part are a supplement to GB/T 19518.1-2017.
