Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and structure, models and markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of underground waste collection devices.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and use of underground waste collection devices that use 240 L, 660 L, or 1,100 L plastic trash cans as collection containers. Collection devices using other collection containers should refer to this standard for implementation.
