Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, and marking for nickel and nickel-based alloy castings used in industrial valves (hereinafter referred to as "castings"). This standard applies to nickel (Ni), nickel-copper (NiCu), nickel-molybdenum (NiMo), nickel-chromium-iron (NiCrFe), and nickel-chromium-molybdenum (NiCrMo) and other nickel and nickel-based alloy castings used in industrial valves.
