Scope

This part of GB/T 28630 specifies the reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, operating procedures, and result determination required for the spot hybridization detection method of nucleic acid probes for white spot syndrome.
This part is applicable to the screening of live, chilled, or frozen products of shrimp, as well as other crustacean organisms sensitive to the white spot syndrome virus, including adult shrimp, juvenile shrimp, larvae, and fertilized eggs. It is not applicable to the estimation of the activity of virus infection.
