Scope

This part of GB/T 28630 specifies the reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, operating procedures, and result determination required for the nested PCR detection method of the pathogen of white spot syndrome.
This part is applicable to the highly sensitive qualitative detection of the pathogen of white spot syndrome in various samples of shrimp, environmental organisms, and bait organisms, as well as other various non-biological samples, for pathogen screening and disease confirmation.
This part is not suitable for estimating the virus quantity or infection activity, nor for assessing the degree of host infection when used alone.
