Scope

This part of GB/T 28630 specifies the reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, operating procedures, and result determination required for in situ hybridization detection of white spot syndrome.
This part is applicable to assessing the infection level and virus amplification status of shrimp and other sensitive host tissues infected with white spot syndrome, as well as confirming the diagnosis of the disease. It is not suitable for virus detection in specimens that are non-infectious carriers of the virus.
