Scope
This part of GB/T 2910 specifies a method for determining the content of acetate fibers in a two-component mixture composed of the following fibers after removing non-fibrous substances by the acetone method:
Acetate fibers and wool, animal hair, silk, regenerated protein fibers, cotton (combed, scoured, or bleached), flax, hemp, ramie, jute, sisal, needle grass, coconut fiber, gossypium fiber, cuprammonium fiber, viscose fiber, modal fiber, polyamide fiber, polyester fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, and glass fiber.
This method is not suitable for mixtures containing modified polyacrylonitrile fibers, nor for mixtures of acetate fibers whose surface has been deacetylated.
