GB/T 2910.5-2009 Textiles—Quantitative chemical analysis—Part 5:Mixtures of viscose,cupro or modal and cotton fibres(method using sodium zincate)
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 2910 specifies the method for determining the content of viscose fibers after removing non-fiber substances, or the content of most existing cuprammonium fibers or modal fibers mixed with raw cotton, scoured cotton, or bleached cotton fibers, using the sodium zincate method. If cuprammonium fibers or modal fibers are present in the sample, it is necessary to test in advance whether they can be dissolved in the reagent.
This part is not applicable to mixtures in which the cotton fibers have been severely chemically degraded, nor to mixtures in which persistent finishing agents or reactive dyes cannot be completely removed from the viscose fibers, cuprammonium fibers, or modal fibers, resulting in their inability to be completely dissolved.
